Sled stolen from yard in spokane

A few nights ago, (just after the record setting snowstorm), my 74 year old dad took his Snowmobile out in Spokane Valley and warmed it up in anticipation of his 3 grandkids coming over for rides.

He went out just before they came over and his sled was stolen. It was parked in his DRIVEWAY on Sanson Road (way off the beaten path but still in the city). His Arctic Cat helmet was sitting on the sled. It was stolen also. He lives in the Spokane Valley just north and west of Sullivan and Trent.

Whoever stole the sled rode it through ditches and on roads all the way to the Idaho border (along Trent) where the police said they lost the track.

I will be getting more info on this Ski-doo to post so if anyone out there has any information on this crime could you please call the Spokane police or you can call my dad at 509-922-6070 (home) or 509-435-8490 (cell). His name is John. Or you can call me, Jim, at 406-431-8789. If you prefer to remain anonymous, that is fine.

I believe the sled is a 2001 yellow Ski-Doo Summit 600 with a 136 track. It had almost brand new SOLID YELLOW SIMMONS SKIS (Gen I) on it. Otherwise it is stock. My dad bought this sled new and it has many miles on it.

Like I said, I will post more info tomorrow but PLEASE Spokane sledders, help my dad find his sled!!!

Here is an old picture. Remember, it has Yellow Simmons Skis now.

THANK YOU!

If you find em towing it, "accidentally" F up their truck (and their face :D) and offer them a tow and ride home, and as soon as they help you load it up, kick em to the curb and take off!:p:D And ofcourse take a picture of this proccess and send it to thunderstruck so he knows they got what was coming!...
I would hate to clean up the mess if thunderstruck found em though... :)
