Well, I posted a while back looking for a chainsaw winch. We couldn't find one but made the excursion on Saturday to try and get the broken Dragon out of the canyon. Motor was locked up tight so we figured we'd tow it out.

Long story short, we tried everything to tow it out before taking it apart. Finally decided we would just leave it again and come back and winch it out some how or pull the motor. As we were switching the skis back around I reach over and pull on the pull rope and the motor spins free.

We pull it a couple of times, it fires up and my buddy rides it out of the hole!!!!

We laughed and we would have been pissed except we were so relieved to have it out of the canyon. Motor will get pulled apart this week to see what is wrong.

Was that on the west side of the skyline drive? If so that's a steep ole canyon. glad you guys got the dragon started.

Yup, top of Blue Slide Canyon if you know where that is... one canyon south of North Fork of Pleasant Creek.

Yes, it was a steep canyon.

We have fun regardless. :)

It peeled 2 big pieces of the nik off the cylinder. I'm assuming that was stuck and then after all the goofing we did trying to tow it out it was able to free up? I don't, know, just glad that it started.

Cylinders are reniked and on their way back from the plating place now.
