sled quiting problem

My Dad's 07 600 Renedade is having problems. The last two times out his sled quit about 6-8 times. We will just be going along and it dies. It restarts right back up goes for a while and dies. The sled is brand new this year and has less that 300 miles on it. Took it to the shop the first time and they put some conection goop on some plugs and sent him back out, same problem on next ride. It's back in the shop again. Anyone else have this problem? I'm thinking is is some type of bad sensor.

Having the same problems with my wifes 07 summit 600, been told it was bad gas, changed that, then they gooped the connections and it still did it. Starting to wonder if its the computer or relays are going bad. Please let me know if you find out anything, Ill do the same.

This has happend to me and the problem was the teather cord has a computer key that was going bad... They are prety cheap get a spare one and try it. Good luck

We changed the gas and spark plugs and it did the same thing.

I wonder if this might not be a bad idea, to see if it helps. Do you know if the 600 and 800 keys are the same?

As far as I know yes my 1000 and the 800 took the same cord but you have to go to a dealer and they have to program a new key to your sled. Besides it is allways nice to have a spare, alot of guys here have had that problem and it was the key. Good luck.

How much does a new cord run generally. I have a similar problem but if I mess with the connection I can keep it running, just been to cheap to go and buy one.

New key is generally around 40 bucks and they should program it also.
