Sled in a SuperCrew

Looking to buy a new (to me) truck. Anybody here haul a mountain sled in a F150 SuperCrew with 5.5ft box? Is is doable? My REV has a 151 track.

Thanks

yeah it will fit, might want to throw a sheet of thick wood down to help direct load off tailgate, but i have run a 162 in a 6" box a LOT, a little stickin out, but nothing to bad.

seen my buddy run his 153 M7 in a 6' box with a toolbox!! i think it had maybe a foot of track on the tailgate! it got bent, but anything can work in a pinch. and rev's are light enough that as long as you pull it nice and snug into the front your in the clear.

yeah

Iv had my nissan titan for 4 years, and my sleds haven't hauled a sled under 151 in it all winter. My hcr 153 sticks out like 3.5 feet, no problems at all. I also use a huge strap in front, and two more in the back.

I hauled my 150" Nytro in a 5.5 ft. chevy bed all last winter. I put down a 3/4" sheet of plywood to distribute the weight and strapped at the front behind the spindles and another through the rear skid.

2 seasons bouncing around the mtns with my 153" in the back of my Ranger says you can do it with no problems whatsoever. I had to build a "sled deck" to raise to level of the pick up bed to the top of the wheel wells so it'd fit level. I just made the deck the length of the bed plus tail gate... and it still hangs out about 3 feet.

I have hauled my 136 then i hauled my 144 in my 04 f150 super crew and not a problem at all. A 155 should fit yet good to I would say no problem

just remembered this 151" in front, 144" in back. :beer;

My Kingcat easily fits in my 5.5 box on my 05 King Ranch and my ZX Summit is narrow enough to fit between the wheel wells on my 07 Ranger.

Here is my sled in my 5.5 SuperCrew. It is very doable. The only thing I did was throw in a sheet of plywood to keep my bed from getting cut up. I did do front and rear straps on the sled and had no problems.

awesome, I was pissed that I was going to have to build a trailer for my new sled (first longtrack sled) because I have a short box. I'm lovin the plywood and just throw'er on there. That's what I'll be doin with my 153! Maybe hang a red flag off the track or something just in case the boys have a problem with it. My luck I'll get rear ended by a semi ahaha

First, almost all the weight's on the front half of the sled. There's not much behind the seat.
Second, yeah, 5.5' should be enough to get it in there.

it's gonna hang off a little, but as long as it's tied down it won't go anywhere.

Try finding a 6.5' box super crew they are out there and trust me, you will like that set up much much better if you can find it.

Sled will fit, but I for sure would do some strapping it in so it can't go back at all and strapping it down so it won't bounce!
