Sled for sled

I have a 2013 pro turbo 12lbs of boost. 163 3"

Considering buying a 2015 axys pro 155 2.6 snow check.

Anyone have some quality feedback between the two sleds and how one could compare turbo to stock axys?

TIA

trying to decide on buying snow check 155 voodoo 2.6 $13,150 clickers or stock standard pro non snow check 2.6 155 $11,600 otd 3 year warranty.

Hard decision

You can't seriously be waiting for someone to say that the axys will run about as good or climb with what you had. What you will see from what you had is an underpowered, better handling chassis. Power is easy to remedy. Handling is not.

I still have my 2013 turbo. But thinking it would be nice to have a stock fun sled in the 155 2.6

Just wondering what others think from the pro to axys chassis. I heard a guy saying it was like the dragon to pro. that seems like a monster jump

2016, right?

It IS like going from a Dragon to a Pro.

If you have the $$ and are willing to spend it...not a hard decision at all. Snow check sled over the in season all the way. If you want to save a few bucks, the in season is still a helluva sled. 3" turbo pro on 12lbs is no joke tho...still a big step up in power and climbing from a stock (anything) if it's running decent...

The Axys has a different feel to it than the Pro. I haven't ridden a turbo Pro, especially one running that much boost but stock for stock, there is a HUGE difference.

Your turbo Pro addressed one big issue, power. The Axys has sooo much more bottom to mid power you can gas it, shift your weight a touch and the moves happen in an instant. Super predictable going off the groomed trail, through the heavy plowed up crud into the pow. It makes a move like that seem impossibly easy as I watch my buddy on his Doo struggle to nurse his over the crud. Axys does it at full chat, doesn't beat you up. It is becoming an extention of my arms and legs...

Trail ride is improved, power is much better, path accuracy is excellent and even though my Pro felt like a toy, this one is even better. I am super pleased with the improvements and we haven't even been able to get them into the trees yet. I suspect this chassis is a game changer there.

i got to ride my new axys last weekend, in wyoming. 90 miles of backcountry and very little trail. i was very disapointed in the power of the new sled.. but i am coming off a turbo pro at 11 psi and built motor. the new sled does handle great but power wise it is not turbo pro. i am not shur the hp rating on the new 800 but lets say it is 155hp well were i ride at 10k ft take 30% off that just for the altatude and you are at 105 to 110hp when i ride the new sled at home at 800 ft it is an absulute handful. but at 10k + its disapointing. that is where the turbos shine. turbo pro at 12psi at 10k ft your over 200hp. but that will change axys turbo kit on the way.

I had a 2013 Silber Turbo and have a '16 Axys (stock right now)

It's an apples to oranges comparison really. The turbo had great power but not the throttle response of a stock sled. I also couldn't keep it pinned all the time in deep conditions, where a stock sled you can. For those saying that the new sled is like coming from a Dragon/IQ to a Pro they are kinda right. The new Axys is different. Taller, leaner and tippier. Great power once the break in is done on the new sled, I think I might be OK keeping it with just the SLP combo.

The one thing I would say is that going to a Pro from a Dragon was a bigger jump in my mind because staying on the Dragon was a bigger penalty than staying on the Pro now. The Pro is a great sled that needed some more umphhh. The Axys is just that much better.
