Started to notice my lugs bending on the flat top shop dolly. So i had my buddy tim at patriot welding (timsperline1966@yahoo.com) fab this up. works much better than before. craftsmanship and the overall product is amazing.

How much does he charge for these? I built mine out of 2x3's on top of a 2x10 with 2" casters underneath. Pretty much accomplished the same thing as your pics.

Quad - i had the same thing as you - i used 2x4's but i didnt like the look. the wood was bulky looking (im a stickler for doing things "right" - not to say you didnt). so i figured a metal frame would clean up the look while its in the garage. plus the metal lowered the height of the cross brace (vs the wood one) so i didnt need to lift the sled as high. tim adjusted the height of the cross braces to account for the angle of the track - front brace is 1/4" lower than the rear - prolly could have gone 3/8" lower though.

tim added the casters and paint - you can do them yourself, but i was to lazy to do it. you can send him an email, let him know what you want, and i'm sure he'll respond quickly.
