Sled dies, low idle

Was hoping to get some troubleshooting advice.

Has my 2019 Pro-RMK 850 out for the first ride of the season and it ran great with no issues for a few hours. Then while waiting on the trail at idle for the rest of my group, it died when I tried to give it throttle to move again. Tried restarting but would only run if I gave throttle input and idle was low (like 700-800). Would not even get high enough to engage the clutch when providing more throttle input. Noticed a check engine light as well when it was running again. Is there an easy way to power up the display/ecu to check the code without it having battery/E-Start?

At first, I thought maybe it fouled a plug, but two sets of fresh plugs yielded the same results.

Also removed and checked TPS and disconnected it, no change.

Ended up towing it back to the truck as I didn't want to damage anything continuing to try restarts before I had a chance to look things over better. Current plan tonight is to check compression just for peace of mind (not too worried about that as it rotates smoothly). Also going to check wiring for injectors and plugs, make sure I'm free of contamination and or water...

Anything else you guys would start with or check?

Thanks!

All fixed up! Something I didn’t mention in my post was that my handle came off the recoil rope and sucked all the way back into the recoil. So clutch started the sled all day 🤣. Didn’t think anything off it and had no idea that would have caused my problem. But the picture is what it looks like when your flywheel eats a recoil rope…in case anyone is wondering. Balled up enough to bend one of the trigger coils away from the stator.

Pic of the bent trigger coil. Had to pry it back into place. And could not move it with finger pressure after getting it back and gapped the same as the other one. Should I be concerned about it? Sucks to spend the $500 on a new stator assembly if she is running great again now.
