Okay it's not really trivia, but I do have a question about sled decks. Does anybody make a sled deck that would fit in the back of a 5 and 1/2 foot Ford F-150 truck bed? I do have an air ride suspension under the back to help, but just was looking at getting one, but don't know if one is available. Any info or help is much appreciated.

Ive never seen one but i almost think that it might not be possible. It just seems like if you had a long track on a sled deck that only had a 5.5 foot base it would want to flip over backwards all the time. Yeah it would be tied in but it would still be a lot of stress. the only thing i could think of is getting a regular deck and leaving your tailgait down but then it would get all chipped up. sorry that wasnt what you were asking about
My buddy has a newer f-150 with a silver lake deck, he bought it used and had it refabed to fit his bed, i think they charged 50-75 bucks. It worked well, must have air bags, all the wait is well behind the rear axel
Anything can be modified!!!! A friend of mine fit a sled deck into the back of his Chevy Avalanche, it turned out really good.
