sled deck plans/bluebrints

Plan on building my own sled deck out of steel...cant tig aluminum..plus want to keep cost down. Just wondering if anyone has some plans/ideas to help get me started. Expandable sides arent needed but would be ok and a 10' ramp is a necessity! Its going in an 04 Ford F250 crewcab shortbox.

I am just about done building mine for my dodge shortbox, if you want pics of it i'd be happy to the frame is completely done just got to finish painting then it's ready for decking. Just basic steel 8ft deck 2ft beavertail. Only thing I did different from most is 6 legs and connected them all so the legs go between the wheel wells so it's really easy loading by 1 person. It takes a more material and work to make it this way vs 4 legs but in the end works better IMO.

i made mine out if 1.5 x.100 steel tubing. just finished welding it out this afternoon. pm me your e- mail and i will send you pics. i would post them but but it always says file size to big.

Here's what I got sent for plans :beer;

Cycle, do you know anyone that has built a deck using the Sled Deck Plans?

I already had a copy of those plans and the 16ga steel seems really flimsy to to me, but I'm not an engineer. Would like to know if anyone has used those plans and how it turned out.

I bought some 14 ga square tubing 1.25" & 1.5", as well as some 1" 15ga, and the 15ga seems really flimsy.
