Sled deck on a 2008 Chevy silverado 1500 Crew Cab

Has anyone put a sled deck on a 2008 Chevy 1500 Crew cab. Right now i have a marathon sled deck that is for a short box but i have done some measuring and it seem that it is to big but i have seen people with them.

assuming you have the 7' truck boss deck, if you look next to the fit guide that you have posted you will see * for your truck at the bottom of the page it says * means * rail capture requires trimming
then uned ramp for your truck it say ** which means ** ramp requires removal of hooks when storing in ramp pocket

I realize that but I have the 7 ft sled deck from before the truck boss ones came out.

my bad i assumed since that was the spec sheet you had up you had a truck boss deck, thought might have been an honest mistake mising the *
I only have experience with that setup with the truck boss deck, never played with the older ones

It takes about 3 minutes with another person to throw it in there and see. If you can find three other people it wouldn't even require much effort.
