Sled deck info

How are you fastening your sled deck to your pickup? I'm not wanting mine in all winter so I would like it to be fairly quick. I was thinking ratchet straps in the 4 corners is that enough?

ratchet straps, or stainless turnbuckles you can get at the hardware store. my sled deck came ready to take straps or turnbuckles, depends how yours is set up.

Turnbuckles once adjusted right super fast, straps would work but personally think there would be to much stretch in them

I have mine bolted through and turnbuckled just for piece of mind. Not sure where your gonna be traveling but ust remember how fun the RCMP and DOT can be in BC when it comes to that stuff.

Turnbuckles. Ratchet straps seem like they would stretch or slip over time.

Are you guys strapping your decks to the cheap little hooks in the box of your truck or are you putting something sturdier in?

I have used turnbuckles and heavy-duty ratchet straps.
The ratchet straps stay tight all season! The turnbuckles need to be check and adjusted throughout the season.

turn buckles

put a nut on one end of turn buckle tighten buckle then nut, wont move or loosen up. oh turn buckle by the way.
