Sled Cleaning

What are you guys using to make the plastic shine and protect it. More specifically the porus plastic by your knees, using wax just leaves a white haze, and same with the windshield??

Maxima SC1 silicone spray better known as bull**** spray!! Makes any and all plastics look great and the snow don't stick.

I agree, I use this stuff on all my unpainted plastics. Really brings out the color, repels dust, and protects it for a long time. You can get it at most dealers.

I found some stuff at my Harley Davidson dealer. Its called S100. This stuff is amazing. It shines, protects, and doesn't leave a film. Also it has the properties that doesn't build up static which cause dust and dirt to cling to it.

If its good enough for show-quality Harley's is good enough for my Pro!

I use Turtle Wax Ice. It's more of a liquid than regular wax. I use it on all my plastics, dirt bikes, trim on vehicles, 4-wheelers etc. Works great for the entire sled, except the tunnel, and for that I use window cleaner.

Good to hear, but I've always been under the impression S100 was more for oil and grease or more specifically for engines. Is that the sled part your referring too?

BUG SLIDE! Use it on glass, plastic, steel, paint on my BMW, the Denali, the RMK and the Boat!!

Plexus or Honda plastic cleaner both work good.

Honda plastic cleaner is basically same exact thing as Plexus, but half the price.

Used to use WD-40, but didnt like the dust it would pick up.

Another product that works great is Armor All Tire Foam. Use it on my quad plastics and it makes them look better than new.

Done fishing. Let's go sledding !!
