What are the differences between the two, obviously tunnel length and flap. I also heard the non slash has a bigger cooler??? Starting to make some plans for the future if Polaris should actually build sleds next year.

Not what they are talking about. There is a 22 matryx standard and slash, not axys. The standard is longer and had a more normal flap

Supposedly the 165" Slash is the same tunnel as the 155" non-Slash. Longer cooler and snow flap on the non-Slash.
Slash is 7" shorter then axys. Non slash is 4".
Cooler on the non slash is at least 6" longer. Don't remeber exactly how much. Also has the full length solid flap.

Cooler is just about 1 ft longer on standard Matryx.
Flap is useless. I'm cutting mine, as long as it has 6" or so it will suck enough snow into tunnel.

The NON Slashes have a cooler that goes beyond the gas tank. Mounting holes are a little different on the standard as well for the Lock n Ride Flex products.
Is anyone with the Matryx non-slash having fuel pump problems?
Friends of mine rented two of them in mid-January. Both went down with fuel pump problems the same day. The shop could not find replacement parts after nationwide search.
