Just in case anyone wanted to see the SKS 146 in a few different angle pictures. For those wondering this is Switchback Assault with the narrow RMK front end and different track. Otherwise besides the feeling just a hair taller the two sleds feel and look very similar in person.

A side thought. For those that are having issues with the AXYS snowflap creaking and breaking. The one of the SKS 146 looks to be the older type material with a bit different design. Shorter of course then the 3" AXYS RMK version. Just an FYI.

Oh and the camera does not do this color justice. It's crazy bright in person.

Is that seat as comfortable as it looks?
The bag nests nicely in the back.

The seat is very comfy but its tall and wide compared to the RMK style seat. The bag fits nicely and holds a ton of stuff but it isn't waterproof which is a real bummer. I don't put anything I care about in that bag...

In a word. YES!! Compared to the RMK seat it's like sitting on a Lay-Z-Boy. LOL But as "edgexcsp" said it's pretty wide also. However I would bet I could ride all day and never have any issue with it being in my way but shorter people I bet would.

I hate that seat. Same as the ones in pro x and s

Ride my old mans pro x for a day and absolutely detested the seat. The bulge outs are right where you want to put your legs for stand up riding so it makes you go bow legged and just feels wrong compared to my rmk seat when you stand

Comfy yes, functional failure for a stand up sled

The boards and fixed fender are both much wider than the RMK combined with the overstructure differences and Footwells leads to a a less restrictive tie hold.

Look again... The footwells are actually smaller than the RMK, there is a piece of aluminum riveted between the tube and the running board that actually forms the toehold. They are much tighter than the RMK especially on the right side because the chain case sticks out into the footwell.

The footwell is probably my biggest complaint about my Assault, I do my best not to stick my feet in them because my boots get stuck. I wear size 14's so I know part of the issue is my feet but I still feel that they are way to tight for anyone.

It's totally different then the RMK. They may be shorter but they are way wider. This is just a slightly different sled than the Switchback Assault that came out last year and the boards are the same. Have one in the trailer right now, more of a pocket for your foot than a toe hold.

Any chance you guys are working on a way to open up the foot well on this chassis?
