skipping idle

My pro has a skipping/ stumbling idle that bounces from 1350-1550 range. it does it at all temperatures all the time anyone else have this problem and know what the fix is? I'm thinking it's the tps but haven't had time to take it in yet. It still runs good and I don't want to miss any riding time.

how long has your sled been doing this? when it drops idle does it act like it going to die?

There have been some reported TPS issues and I was told that some sleds did not respond to the factory settings.. Something like .070, dealer pulled a stock sled out and tested it, was at like .092, they have been stting them there now.??

no it doesn't act like it's going to die, just skips back and forth from 1350 to 1550 range constantly.

Something to check is plug gap if you've changed them recently. I did a while ago and gapped to .027 (like I always have) and it ran like crap at idle. I went back down to .018 and problem solved.

I'll have to try that mine are at .027 like the manual recommends but I will try going down and see if it helps.

MH would be the guy to ask for certain on proper gap. I had to do the regap last minute up on the truck rack in the rain on mine after somebody on SW chimed in and recommended that to me. It did the trick though.
