skinz seat with turbo?

anybody run a skinz seat with a rear mount? just wondering if theres any problems?
 
The Boost Valve that mounts under the seat can freeze up very easily and cause boost levels to spike. I would stay away from a seat or open design like a skinz seat if running a rear mount turbo.
 
This is the setup that I am interested in. I was hoping somebody dealing with MCX would be at the snow show here in SLC, but I didn't see anyone. I would like to take it one step further however. I do mostly tree riding and I am back and forth on my sled a lot and I would like to move everything out of the way. I have seen that there are undertunnel setups for the MCX but I would like to get the air intake out of the way also. I have wondered if it would be possible to run the Skinz seat and somehow loop the intake up under the seat. I am sure you would have to get some kind of filter material to seal off the sides of the seat to keep a bunch of snow from coming in.

Has anyone done this? Even if someone has not done this exact thing I was wondering if someone that has an MCX kit could measure for me how much clearance there is between the Skinz seat and the turbo. Even if there was any clearance I could always run use an oval pipe running past the tight spot and then bring it back out to normal if there is more room in front of the turbo.

Just some thoughts that I have had. I think an MCX 180 with a Skinz seat and the exhaust and intake out of the way would be the ticket for a good boondocker.
 
Unless you are a tall guy 6' plus when I rode it I found the seat is too tall for me at 5' 10". My buddy who had it sold it cause he is a shorter guy as well. I made a heat/snow shield that fastens inside the seat frame and covers the turbo if anybody needs it. The shield was built for an MCX setup.

I am 6'2" so I am not super worried about the height of the seat. So how much clearance was there between your shield and the seat?

I'm using Skinz seat with MCX. Works great.
Made a heat shield of aluminum over the turbo.
The TCV valve is mounted under the seat.
I had problem with steam from the turbo that froze on the intake filter.
I've made a block off plate on the back of the seat.
 
Thank you so much! That is exactly the pics I have been looking for. I am pretty sure that I can make my idea work now. Now time to come up with some coin.

x2. Speaking of boost valves I had mine freeze up or something last year only on very cold days and deep snow. You know only the times you need boost. Mine would dump all my boost. I have a manual boost it T. Any body else or do you think it was my waste gate?

I have a snorkle and have had that happen a couple of times but it was not the same. When that happens you can knock the breather off and go but it usually still has some boost. This just drops all of it and if you let it sit and idle for a few its runs like a top. Like i said It only happened to me twice no big deal but just curious.
