I just wanted to take a moment and offer a personal comment on SKINZ Protective Gear as a company..

DISCLOSURE.
I have purchased the following SKINZ items for my 2010 Yamaha Nytro through RETAIL Distribution from their reseller and SnoWest Advertiser "Seld Solutions". All products were bought over the internet with no direct contact with SKINZ.

Air Frame Boards
Air Frame Seat
Nytro MTX Rear Bumper
Under Tunnel Exhaust Conversion

Over the course of the summer I have been slowly installing each of these items on my sled, and just wanted to offer a couple comments about SKINZ.

1st.
I ordered most of my items custom powdercoated Yamaha Blue. In each case the product arrived with a perfect color match and in excellent condition.

2nd.
The fit and finish of each product I purchased has been outstanding!!.

3rd.
And this is why I am posting this.
This last week for the first time I had some questions that had to go directly to Skinz for answers. Their customer service has been as good as it gets. I can honestly say it has been a delight dealing with their staff.

In a day and age when customer service has become little more than a sales phrase I am happy to say that SKINZ obviously makes it part of their business model.

If you find yourself shopping for custom after market products for your sled, do yourself a favor and take a long hard look at what they have to offer. It has been my experience that you will be well pleased with their products.

I couldn't agree more, Skinz is truly a company that more companies should learn from.

There isn't a company in our business that wouldn't benefit from better customer service. So far all my interactions with SKINZ have been terrific. Just couldn't be happier.

I exchanged several e-mails with them recently and they have continuously impressed with me with their willingness to help me solve problems and offer solutions.

Just couldn't be happier...

We carry the Skinz product line one of the things that appealed to us about Skinz is excellent quality product, well thought out products and superb customer service. Skinz is a family run business as is ours the passion and commitment they bring to the table is very obvious. I have called and had several long conversations with Tammy, Jeff, Jake and Shanna. The patience and knowledge they share with me has helped me so much to understand the design, production and application of the various products they have to offer. The have rushed orders for us so we can have product for various sled shows it impresses me because we are the little guys they have big suppliers but have always been able to get us the products we need when we need it.

THANKS so much Skinz Family!!!

That is awesome news! They are based out of my home town of Paynesville, MN. Way to go Skinz!

The Skinz products I have, have been terrible, they have held up so well I never get to replace with the latest and greatest. The only reason I haven't done the newer RMK front plastics upgrade is that my Skinz bumper has done its job so well, I don't need new plastics yet.

I have no opinion of Skinz customer support. But thats just because all the stuff I have purchased fit so well and came with such good installation directions that I never had the need to contact them. And I have lots of thier stuff, all top notch!!!

Jake, Issac, Shanna, Paul, Monte, Jeff and Tammy are wonderful people! We have been with Skinz since the beginning of the snowmobile product line release and can honestly say it's been a pleasure. Stumbling on the them in 05/06 was the best thing that ever happened to Sled Solutions and was the first aftermarket product line we took on. Skinz products are top of the line and I've used just about every form of product they have. Windshield bags, tunnel bags, float plates, silencers, seat covers, shock covers, backpacks, bumpers and sled covers. All GREAT products that do what they are designed and claimed to do. I'm hoping this year we'll get to use the AirFrame seat and running boards. It's nice to work with a company NOT in it for the money.

Anyone with questions, feel free to PM me and we can get you into the right product from Skinz Protective Gear.

Made in the U.S.A.

That has to go into the marketing hall of fame.:face-icon-small-hap

That is pretty much what every company DREAMS of hearing a customer say

I have a few Skinz products on my sled as well and I know for sure that their float plate saved my front plastics when I hit a hidden stump last season... I have no doubt that my entire front belly pan would have been garbage if it were not for that HEAVY DUTY float plate:D From my experience with a couple of their products, I think they are great:D:beer;
