skinz or snow skinz or oem cover?

what one does everyone recommend? i don't trailer my sled that much due to having an enclosed but there are times when i use the open trailer due to road condition or riding spots in the spring so i want a good cover.
my sled is a 09 cat m1000

I really like my Sno-Skinz cover and it seems very well made. I have a year of use on it and it is just like new. I have never seen or used a Skinz cover. I think my Sno-Skinz is better made than the Polaris OEM covers I had in the past. I did some searching on here for Sno-Skinz covers last year and all the reviews were positive. I have also read lots of positive reviews for the Skinz covers. Hard to beat the warranty of the Sno-Skinz covers though: "Sno-Skinz builds its covers to last, so we 100% guarantee satisfaction on delivery and guarantee against structural failure in materials and workmanship for as long as you own your snowmobile."

Hands down the Skinz cover is the way to go....waterproof!!

If you need one let us know.
Pretty good cover so far, broke a strap off due to a bad stitch, so had them all reinforced at a shoe repair place in town for about $5.

Does a good job keeping the dirt and grime off, and I liked the fact that with my taller handlebars that the cover would stretch over it all like a glove. Nice product for sure!

I have to agree on the Skinz Protective Gear cover. The material naturally conforms to the contours of your sled without worry of scratching. I have thousands of miles on mine. As Paul stated they are truly waterproof.

Another great thing about the covers are they adapt to most any accessory you put on the sled. Taller bars, handguards, different seat etc......

So whats trailering like with the Snow skins or the Skinz? I use a deck so just curious if it "balloons."

SKINZ all the way

I love my skinz cover. I used it for 2 2200 mile round trips last year on an open trailer and it worked great! It does "balloon" a little bit when you get above about 60-65 mph but it kept my sled perfectly clean and protected underneath. Just make sure you get the waterproof delux model.

Last season I got to use one for a few trips and found that the cover balloons a little bit but the key is to pull the straps as tight as possible. The first time I used it I got them tight but not super tight. It ballooned so when we stopped for fuel I pulled them as tight as I could and it reduced the ballooning dramatically. Very minor and 10 times better then anything else available. I would take my cover off and my buddy with a stock AC cover would take his off and my sled would be clean and his salt covered.

They work!!

best cover hands down i have ever used!!my friends all went out and picked them up last season..sweet cover and no ballooning

Sno Skinz and Skinz Protective Gear are two different companies.
