Skinz bag is tearing...Do they have a warranty?

I have a skinz bag on my 07 summit. Works great but there is a seam at the rear of the bag that is starting to tear. Anyone know if they will fix this or am I S.O.L.? Contact #? Any other good durable bags out there?

I had the exact same problem with a Skinz tunnel bag that had only seen maybe 10 rides/use. Took it back to the dealer where I bought it and he gave me a new bag and he said he would be reimbursed by the manufacturer. I assume that he was.

I bought my bag through the Hi performance engineering catalog. I guess I will see if they give me the run around about me having to contact the manufacturer. C.E. Sleadhead, sounds like you bought from a good source...now that's customer service. I'll keep you posted!

Skinz is pretty good about standing behind their product. The easiest is to take it to your dealer. As with any warranty they need to make a call as to why the item is failing and if it is able to be warrantied. Usually, they can get another one for you. You could contact Skinz, but that would probably require you to send the item to them for repair or replacement. It's a good time of year to be getting these items taken care of. Good for you for not waiting until the day before you want to ride.

Thanks Skinz Protective Gear!!! And Tammy!!!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I got my skinz tunnel bag back for my 07 Rev summit. I sent it directly to Tammy at Skinz Protective Gear to get fixed and she said they would take a look at it and see what they could do. Sooooo, two weeks later a BRAND NEW skinz bag arrived at my door! Great customer service! Just wanted to let Tammy and the Skinz group know how much I appreciated what they did. Great people to deal with!! Oh yeah, I only had to pay to ship my torn bag up to them. Otherwise, it was all taken care of...can't beat that for great customer service and a new tunnel bag!!!

Skinz Protective Gear has top-notch customer service. I'm not surprised they helped you like they did.
