skins bumpers

so I have skins front and rear bumpers on my 2013 assault 144. upon ordering the rear bumper they told me that the bumpers for 144 and 155 were the same. I made the bumper fit on my sled but it didn't fit like it woulda on the 155. had some suspension issues yesterday and a buddy was pushing down on my rear suspension so I could look at what my shocks were doing and he bend the bumper down about two inches with one push. has anyone else had this issue? it bent back up easy but Im concerned in the future that this bumper isn't going to last?

Got any pics of how you mounted it? I have beat the crap out of the one on my Switchback Assault and it hasn't budged. Even yanking out Apexs with the Snowbunje.

here's the bumper bent down. I have pulled it upword somewhat, but don't want to do repetition bending, as it may weaken the aluminum more.

The newer bumpers are not near as good as the older ones. They all fail at the same spot and skins will say you installed it wrong. We have sold 40 of these things and never got one back until this newer design. You were supposed to put a bolt where it bent. I would prefer to see them take the holes out and go back to the original design.

I know I was boston, but they make the bumpers for the 155 and don't shorten them for the 144 so it's pushed forward as far as it can be and I still can't put the bolt in where they said to put. So I put it as far back as I could and well..... It's bent.

I just got finished with talking to skins about the rear bumper, and for the 144 your supposed to get the pbr 200, not 300, the 200 is shorter and shouldn't Bend like that. they handled it well and I should have a new bumper shipped to me shortly!

This is exactly what I told them to do last year when this happened to the first one. Second one cracked in the 1/2" of material on each side of the circle. I asked them if they could make them without, he said won't happen...they must have made a bunch...will never buy another!!
