Skids for MM700

Are there any skids from other snowmo companys that mount to a MM700 without any mods being done to the MM? I'm trying to figure out if I should get a long track kit from Hartman or if there is a chance some other skid would work as well while dropping weight. I've heard of M7 skids (153) being mounted to MM's but...Also comtemplating *gasp* getting rid of the MM for a diff., newer sled. Thoughts, help, comments?

The 1M skids work well also If you are installing one in a stock mm you would likely want it set back about an inch from the stock hole on the front arm. I doubt youll find a stock skid that will just bolt right in that chassis and work properly without drilling some new mounting holes and possibly moving/replacing the rear drop brackets. I always wanted to try an IQ rmk skid in one of my mod MMs. If I were to do it again thats what I'd go with. That or an EZ Ryde.

Thanks trips but my wallet can't take the hit of an EZ Ryde :face-icon-small-con I'm leaning towards a 151 track kit from hartman with 8t, 2.52p antiratchets. I've heard there will be some fabricating with anyother skid and i'm trying to make this as easy, quick and affordable as possible and since I probably won't be doing this work...Still keeping my options open on a new sled though.

I finished stuffing an 08 Nytro MTX rear skid and the 153" Maverick that came with it under a 97 MM700 yesterday.

I had to press the Nytro drivers on to the MM drive shaft and put the Nytro drivers on, change the gearing, drill some new mounting holes in the tunnel and build some new drop down brackets and trim about 1/8" off the Maverick to get it to clear with the 7 tooth 3.0" pitch drivers.

I'll try to attach a picture.

Thanks, I'm just about done but, I'm still waiting on a longer throttle cable because I put a 4" pivoting riser on and a 19 and 20 tooth upper sprocket. I have an 18 x 42 on there now and I'd like to to go to at least a 19 tooth upper before I close up the chain case.

I had to trim just a 1/8-3/16" off of each paddle for clearance on the front heat exchanger.
