Skidoo XP Engine options which engine will fit

Hello I was wondering if anyone knows if the older 800 ho motors will fit in the xp chassis, i know the xp came with casted mounts in the block, but are they in the same location as the motors that came with a mount plate, i know the new 600etec engine uses a plate so the must be close to the same, please someone help me i need a engine for my xp thanks alot

The 800ho wont be a bolt on,xp motor mounts bolts on case not under it like rev,on pto side you can bore and tap,on mag side you have to weld on some material first not an easy job and you have to line bore case after,what you can do is buy a case from 2008 rs 600 and mill and port it to accept 800 cylinder.

Is the 800R motor in the 2007 REV different than the 800R motor in the 2008/2009 XP?

If so, what are the differnces?

Xp motor mounts doesnt fit on 2007 800r case,but some late replacement cases have the new casting,the newer cases have 0,01mm larger Ø for center and mag bearings.
