im new to this sled when i start it up the tach want register then it does then stops again then comes back to working the high beam light oil light and another light display also briefly is this normal does it switch to full normal operation or what like i said im new to this sled as of saturday jan 9 2010

turn up your idle ....I'm guessing it's low....should be about 1800. If it's low it acts like you just started the sled and keeps "resetting".
