polaris makes a nice skid plate for them...about $80

SKINZ makes an even better one, called a float plate and cover alot more area then the polaris plate...i just worked with them on making a float plate in Orange now as well...their float plates are $120

I've had good luck with the Polaris skid plates protecting what they need to on my '07 and '10 RMK's. They also fit really tight so you don't get a chunk of snow/ice build up between the plate and bulk head.

The Skinz float plate covers even more of the bulkhead and front plastics, but some guys had problems getting them to fight right and had to trim around by the lower A arms to keep them from hitting.

Both will work great, take a look at them and choose the one that you like best.

It might be a little late to mention this but Polaris has 2 skid plates for your sled, one is the older IQ plate that only goes part way up and the latest goes all the way up to the bumper.
