M1100 skid plate what did you install or not? Last year I had nothing, bent the pipe but other then that I was fine. Ordered the float plate but doesn't fit, went on by 800 instead.Z bros looks good but, I don't need a bumper. Looking at the racewerx and triming the pipe. Anyone make there own?

The Racewerx skid plate should fit with or without the bumper. It is strong and I took some good hits with it last season.

The bumper combo is the best, then you are covered front to back.

I hit something last year and was glad I had the cat accessory skid plate. Helped in not bending or breaking the cooler but still did a number to the stock plate underneath it. But this year I took the stock rear skid plate and made one out of 1/8" aluminum instead of the thin piece they had on there that doesnt protect anything and it mounts right to the bottom of the cooler, Take the stock one out and transfer it to a 1/8" piece of aluminum and bend the back lip on it. Otherwise the Racewerx one is well built and fits up against there front skid plate that comes with there bumpers. I have there bumper sitting here to put on once I get to that point.

That is exactly why theres a 4X8 sheet of 1/8th in. aluminum laying in my yard!

which do you think would provide the most protection, the RPM Composites or the Racewerx bumper w/rear skid plate?

I have the reacwerx mountain bumper and skid plate. It is a good product. Just leave the factory plate in place when you put the racewerx one on. I received one of the first skid plates they send out and did not have any instructions. I removed my factory plate then soon found out that was not correct. Anyways its a great sturdy product and a small investment to protect your $16,000 plus machine.

I have the Arctic Cat one on my 1100T. Based on the gouges I found in in near the break rotor and the chaincase it definitely did its job. The aftermarket ones are definitely sturdier though. Arctic Cat one is inexpensive though.

Just to be clear, I don't have that tiny thingy up front, just the skid plate underneath. You can't have the front skid plate and the slightly better AC bumper at the same time.

Maybe I am overlooking it, but I cannot find the rear skid plate on your site, by bumper combo do you mean the bumper and the skid plate or just bumper?

The back skid plate is not currently on the website. The front bumper/skid plate combo is one piece. The rear skid plate covers the area where your drain bolt is.

PM me if you have questions or want to purchase the skid plate.

Yes Eric- that is what sucks is the Cat stock plate does cover the oil drain bolt-
What were they thinking- coourse it filt's all proclimb's:jaw:

Yet another reason to get the Racewerx. You can pull the window off and drain your oil.

The Arctic Cat skid plate will usually only hide your damage not prevent it.

Just go with the racewerx rear skid plate I have the cat one and still did some damage cat one didn't help the tinfoil in the back from bending up. So this year I will have both the rear skid plate that's 1/8th" and the cat plate that adds extra coverage
