skid plate for 2010 dragon rmk? also handguards

Personally I like the factory Polaris skid plates, great coverage, perfect fit, and no snow buildup between the plate and tub. Skinz float plates are also popular for IQ sleds, but most folks need to trim the plastic around the A arms because it can hold snow, and you need to take your time mounting it so it fits tight to the tub.

Hand-guards are much more rider specific for what folks like. I've tried factory Polaris guards, but the the plastic mounting brackets bend and break just from installing a sled cover for trailering. I've found that Rox Flex Tec's work best for me, they have a durable aluminum mount, flexible hard plastic guard covered by a really nice soft cover (made by Skinz) that keeps your hands warm out of the wind.

tried the skinz float plate myself, had a hard time getting it to fit right, mostly because of my after market front bumper, had to trim it alot and got tired of screwing with it , put the polaris skid plate on, the skinz plate may be better if your the guy busting threw the brush and crossing downed trees but for me the polaris plate was a easy install and it covers the vitals

x3 on the polaris skid plate. make sure ya get the correct 1, Iq and raw are different..
I have not had good luck with hand guards, smashed and broke mine...

The factory skid plate for the 10 is taller than the 8s' and 9s' The 10 is longer and goes just below the bumper where the others only go half way up to the bumper if I'm not mistaken .

Don't do the factory hand guards for those years , their hard to correctly fit and on the pro taper bars they looked like droopy dog years , I wasted a crap load of time on them and used a heat gun on the plastic to give them lift , and I had to offset one of them so they looked the same . Than to top it off one of the welds came off , not a brake just a sh!tty weld . It all depends on how picky you are .

Ordered the 2010 factory skid plate and a pair of skinz handguards..
I had the stock pro taper guards on it and you are right, I never did like how they looked and they broke off real easy. Lost both of them in one weekend.
