lookin good, times gettin short, get that thing together, or you'll be watchin while we're tearin it up.

this commin from the man who will be installing his barkbuster front end tomorrow. LOL! ski

looks like you still need to put some spacers on the bottom of the transfer rods or it will be in the air every time you hit the throttle. assuming you have a turbo.

mt dream thanks for the front end buddy!skid looks good i finally got mine also but no time to install,got snow?

lookin good man, cant wait til ya get her all done it will be saweet thanks for the food and fun , i will see you later,i am after da thirdy point buck. k

MT, looking good. Did you just cut out one large piece when installing the Better Boards? I was debating whether or not to cut individual windows. I thought that might provide added strength :confused:

Also, did your better boards cover up the hex head screw on the Timbersled drop brackets? Mine does, so I think I will need to cut the board back a bit so it will clear the hex bolt and lay flat.

Thanks

Looks great MT!! I've finished modding my stock rails and am mounting the Timbersled to them now. I've decided to go with an '09 Polaris Series 5.1 155" track (2.86 pitch) that I got a smokin' deal on. Can't wait!! Should have her buttoned up tomorrow. Any special concerns putting the skid back in, alignment-wise or other?

Thanks!

No, there wont be much more support...I just cut the big whole like I did on the Snow Eliminators on my Rev...

issues on putting my skid back in? nope, none...would suggest leaving the air out of the shocks, as it makes it SUPER simple to put the skid back inwith teh shocks flattened..

the IceAge rails are made specifically for the timbersled skid, so there are no issues at all...

I know some people have had some tightness issues when installing with the stock skid (modified for TS) they have the opposite issue I have...they are bottomed out on the shortest settig on track tension...I am all the way out for to get the track tighter...as the Yammies for whatever reason like tight tracks...

Thanks, MT. Your overhead picture explains the bolt issue perfectly. I'll drill mine right through too.

wow thats a good looking skid way better than most , not too clutered. the black extrusions on youre tunnel tie every thing together really well. let us know how you like the powder claw :beer;

MTdream- good looking skid. FYI- the slidekicks are not installed properly. The mounted piece needs to be pointed straight down for maximum effect rather than the slight backwards angle you have. Just a FYI if you didn't know.

thanks, I am aware, but to get them to fit inside the window on the IceAge rails, it will not work without either cutting your hand or scratching the crap out of the rails pcoating...

so it is more for vanity...but this sled really does not have a big cooling issue...and with Hyperfax...not really stressed about maximum scratching...
