skid extensions for M-10

I'd like to know who sells good quality skid extensions for my M-10 suspension on my '04 700 xcsp polaris. I am going from 121 to 144, rotating my chaincase, and going to aftermarket coolers. The only extensions I see are 121 to 136. I want to go to 144. Can I slide my suspension mounting rearward that much to make up the 136 to 144, or do they just make the right extensions somewhere? Any help would be great. Thanks

Call Curt at FASTRAX. He is a M10 mountain guru and stocks billet rail extensions. I don't know if he has one for a bolt on for you, might involve, as you stated, relocating the skid. With rolling the case back, I would assume you will have to relocate it anyway.

Be advised!

What Lynn said! Call Curt at FTX.

When longtracking the M-10 you MUST rework the geometry of the suspension, or you will either have to run your track verry!! loose or risk snapping your driveshaft. No way around it.

Curt at FTX, Chad at CR racing, Mark at CMX, they all do some critical changes to the M-10 to make it work with long tracks.

If you search around on FAST's website (or Blade snowmobiles made by them) you will see some verry special designs on rear axle movement in relation to suspension travel.

I am interested in 121 to 144 m-10 extension

Hey Wild Child, E-mail me with any info, and let me know what you do. I am interested in extending my 700 xcsp with M-10 to 144 inches, and would appreciate any info you can give me. I am going to run a 2.00 inch track, aftermarket coolers, and rotate my chaincase. I need rail extensions, or new rails, and any info I can get. I ride upstate New York mostly, but stay in the powder and the bush as much as I can. A 121 inch track does not do it for me in the deep, and if I am going to change, it may as well be to 144 rather than 136. If you have rails, and/or info, i'd sure appreciate it. I am going to start this project around may, or when all our snow is gone, cant tie up the sled now. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks
