skid basics info for a newb

Second year sledding and first fox air shocks on my 09 m8.....i feel like my sled is just not sitting as high as it should in the rear and i havent got a pump to check the preasure in the shock....borrowing from a friend asap!!! Just looking for a thread or someone to give me some basics on what to excpect from limiting straps. Track tension. Tail squat things a new guy just need to know any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Check psi first imo... might just be low, like anything else, they will leak over time. one of my fronts had lost 5 psi over the summer... it just happens.

Make sure the sled is on LEVEL ground, with no dollies, pump the rear to 120-140 or so & hopefully it will be sitting at full extension there.

I like my bumper to sag 1.5-2" when I'm on the sled... do a search on "suspension setup" on here & you'll find a lot of good info.

You need to pump the shock up without any weight of the sled on it. You will get an inaccurate reading if you just pump it up with the track on the ground.
