Ski slider/ramp guides the easy way and super cheap too!

tired of running at your ramp cause the carbides bite in and grab? Or hate going along the trailer without guides? Or just dont want to spend a bunch of money on more products that are exactly like a BOX LINER?

Do what I did, go to your local auto wrecker, offer the guy a case of beer for the oldest sun warped old BOX LINER from a pick up, cut strips from the bottom floor about 8 inches wide and screw them to the ramp or deck, or both, you will have enough from one liner for a ramp and deck.

not only does it look good but very functional and who can complain about the price? $20 and a box a self drilling screws and you're done.

hope this helps some guys out.

thats what i wanted to do but couldn;t find one at my auto wrecker to use on my 50 dollar powerfist atv ramp that i got from princess auto ended up paying 50 bucks for the guides :(

i just scored one at the local spray on bedliner place. $20 for a longbed one and 2 tailgate peices. these are for my flatbed on my truck, should work great and cheap. keeps the decking preserved for much longer.

Sweet man. good deal, I forgot to mention that in my post, get a LONG BOX if you have the choice.

Yup, works awesome, I just cut mine with a circular saw.

Also, you can use the front of the bedliner (the part against the cab) as a salt shield. Cut it at 45 degrees on the sides and wallah...

:beer;

they cut nicely w/ a saw circular if you got a lil' hick in ya, table saw if you are anal. dado before ripping and they are mucho easier. I get em' off craigs list for free often.

Sometimes the places that do spray in liners or truck dealerships will let them go for free... been meaning to do this to my trailer for a long time now but never have got around to it.

works really good, just watch out that stuff is really super slick when it is wet. I will never put it on a door of an enclosed trailer again. to many people fell down not knowing about it.
