Ski push/washout on trail

Anyone know what causes the ski to wash out while trail riding? Seems like the temp warmed up a bit and the snow got a bit slick and my front ski started to lose traction. It was pretty loose for a while. Is this affected by ski pressure/track setup?

I'm not a camso expert but it seems like every time i ride one on a road it washes. Assuming you have good carbide left the only thing that might help is try not to let it over steer if you get it far enough over to touch the outer runner hold it straight but stay relaxed. The harder the snow the worse it seems.

I don't know about the Camso, but I feel like when it is really icy early in the AM and I have to deal with trail I just ride the track and don't worry a whole bunch about what my ski wants to do.

It can happen as it is just a ski after all.

I happen to have a 2018 Camso kit and had ridden in every condition possible last winter and the front ski stuck to everything I had it on. Between the two center carbides and the incredible outside skags, I had great stick all winter, either in the powder or on the groomed/tracked-up snowmobile trails.

I would either lengthen the rear rod 1/8 of an inch to a 1/4 or lower your triple clamps to increase ski pressure... You can test but trying to turn sitting up on you gas cap to see if that make it work better.... Then you know you need more ski pressure...

That being said there is a slight floating sensation going edge to edge on the road then the ski catches... That is something you have to get used to..
