Ski fitment?

The only major difference between the SAE and Metric would be in the interchangeable bushing that goes in the side of the ski for the pivot bolt. I think you could live with it, modify it, or buy some new ones that fit your bolt size.

The two bushings, the bolt and the hole through the spindle are all affected. If you run a 3/8" ski set with a 10mm spindle you get a bit of slop, not much but some might notice. If you run a 10mm bolt with 3/8" spindles you can VERY CAREFULLY ream them out with a 10mm drill bit. I put a set of 10mms on an IQ and reamed out the spindle. It worked fine. Do so at your own risk. I love the gripper skis so I've put them on just about every model of Polaris since 1999. Everything prior to Pro runs the 3/8" bolt and spindle. If you need a new bolt go to a professional fastener supplier and buy it and save yourself a chunk of change. Polaris wants something like $15 apiece for them and you can pick them up for about $2. I'm pretty sure the size is 3/8" x 5" in SAE and 10mm x 130mm in metric. Both are the hardened variety - grade 8 and equivalent.

That is a good price as they are usually that much Each at the dealer. As said previously the '11's and newer are the metric spindle bushings and are a direct bolt on for the PRO.

Thanks guys, I thought that was a pretty reasonable price for skis. Plus the red skis with an all black sled would look pretty wicked ;)

I bought the new orange hoops for mine this year since I have an orange sled. I put the red ones on my sister's '06 600. looks really nice with the red hood.
