i looked as soon as i saw the greenwater fiasco.

I've been thinking about trying skate creek. Can you tell me where you guys started from. Did you unload at Packwood side or from Ashford side ? Also any big meadows up there. Thanks

We accessed through Packwood. Had to drive up the road about +/- 4 miles. One rig stopped at three miles or so and they ended up sharpening their carbides on the way back the last 300 yards or so. However, 1/2 mile further and was nice, 2+' new snow. Great ride on Sunday.

Hey guys,
Ya, Skate creek has a lot of good ridin if you know where to go, there was a couple of years where that was the main place I rode with friends that knew the area very well. we would come in from Ashford. But either side leads to the same places I think. you just pass through Ashford go about a mile or 2 and turn right go over the river stay to the left and drive until you see the trucks parking on the left of the road. When you head down the trail you can take a right or stay straight, I can't remember the names of the roads or trails.
