Single sled deck manufacturers...?

I am looking for an aluminum, one place, in-the-bed set up. I have tried getting in touch with the guys at ssdeck.com with no luck. It also seems that coveybuilt aren't making the SoLow deck anymore.

Anyone have a used deck or know of anyone still making them?

Full Lotus had the slickest tilt and self load design and execution I've ever seen. Not cheap. However, it's not listed on their site anymore, although a small picture of it is on their 'Ramps' link on their products homepage. I would call them if you were interested, I'm guessing they still can make them up, and maybe give you more info. If you find anything out, please post back!

Here's their site:

Where are you from Routter? I know of a guy in Eagle Colorado that built some pretty slick in bed decks. They tilted and slid out with little effort. I think they were around $800. Pretty sweet when I checked it out.

Bumping this back up.

I thought that I had found the rights guys here at m-line:

But I have had a tough time getting them to return calls.

Andrettidog- I'm in Steamboat and would appreciate the contact info for the Eagle guys. I have a question or two about the cantilever-style decks (ala Full Lotus, who I contacted and do not make 'em anymore) when snow builds up in the bed, but maybe there's a good answer ?

As to why I want one.....I am coming off of 7 years with a F-250 flatbed that was dialed for sleds, but I grew tired of maneuvering it around town, parking, and generally being everyone's sled bitch. Now I'm back to a 1/2 ton and know that I will be slamming the tailgate into snow piles instead of using a PITA ramp and I don't like that.

My buddy has a covey single deck, I think that's the brand atleast, out of Montana. Anyway he got a two place deck and will be selling it, I could give you his number if your interested, I think he paid $1500 new with a super clamp, and he's in Bend Oregon with it.

That was me, it's a Covey Built.

It was about $2000 actually. With front and rear superclamp ( I never used the rear its still in the box. )

The welds suck on it, I had it fixed by somone in town that actually knows how to weld aluminum.

Welds on this look like somone tried to Tig Weld aluminum with a mig welder, just spattered mess's everywhere that they ground with a grinder, most of it broke off.

The Pin that holds the ramp from sliding out, the welds broke. So I had been using a ratchet strap through the handle.

It works great in my ford raptor.

I'm planning on selling it but I don't have the time to deal with shipping it.

Spring loaded pin that the welds broke off

I just used a ratchet strap from then on.

Keep trying. He's been extremely busy as of late. Moved into a new shop, just had a baby. He's hired more help for the phones and around the shop. You won't be disappointed in his product

I have been using a North Cascade Single sled deck all season and it has been great. They are in Washington state just outside of Seattle.

The deck is built very solid, yet light weight enough to be lifted by 1 person. The ramp has nice deep grooves and you need barely any speed to climb up.

I got them to add superclamps tie down to the front and it has been great and super quick.

It is designed to fit a 6.5' bed with the tail gate down but I am using it in my 8' bed with tail gate removed.

Be sure to check your sled's ski stance before getting one custom built. You want to ensure the super glides are plenty wide enough to allow you to mount even if you did not line up perfectly straight.

North cascade has a single in bed deck.
