Single Place Trailer Conversion?

I have a single place utility trailer and I want to add a topper that is remove-able that makes it a 2 place trailer for snowmobiling season.

My reasoning, I have limited storage space and double trailer won't fit on the side of the house. I also use the trailer a lot for hunting, so the railings that are on it now are useful for toting hunting stuff. I also got this trailer for free from a buddy. I know I could buy a new house with more space or buy a new trailer for the right size. But that's not an option.

I have been trying to come up with a good design for the topper. But, I am looking for ideas/suggestions. Thanks

If a real 2 place trailer is not an option, I don't see why you couldn't build a mini sled deck that would sit over the rails and give you room to haul 2 sleds with this trailer.

How wide are the rails and axle? I could see width specs in the link.
It might get tippy if you go to high or wide.
