I believe that they are the same design but the GenII is a much wider ski. 10" wide.. they are made for powder riding cause it gives you floatation.. Never riden on the gen II but love the gen I!!!!

I know i hate that simmons stopped making them in white!! I guess they werent selling enough.. But they look way sweet on almost any sled!!!
