Simmons or...

2009 600Cfi 144" Rmk

I have the stock grippers on it and its all over the place when i have to ride the trail. I have the Gen 3s but there way to big for my sled. Whats a great boondocking ski and on trail ski all in one?

Thanks

Simmons skis

I've used the original Simmons dual-runner skis for about 10 years. They really help eliminate the darting on the trails, but aren't too big, like the Gen III's. I ride the mountains 98% of the time. The originals offer good floatation too. The OEM skis on the new Polaris mountain sleds are great for the mountains too. Easy to side hill. Find what works best for your style of riding. The Simmons originals should work well for Wisconsin trails.

who cares about trail performance if you arent a trail rider? the gripper is a great ski...spend your money on something esle.

I had a pair of slp powder pros and they worked great on the trail and off the trail in that deep powder. i had a friend who was running the stock grippers and he said he liked the powder pros...hope this helps

The grippers don't make a sled dart, your alignment does. Make sure you have proper toe out adjustment. If they are parallel or toed in, they will dart. Mine came parallel and it was horrible. I've set it to specs and almost perfect. Slightly more toe out has worked better for me though.
