Back from Vegas...damn it's cold here! Lots of sun, alcohol, partying and gaming. Topped the trip off with a stop off at the Gold & Silver Pawn shop to check out where they film Pawn Stars. There is a line just to get in. Stood out front for about 30 minutes...glad we packed some beers.

We finally got the nod to go in from the security team...they were all packing heat. I was surprised by the amount of security them have. Bought a couple t-shirts and a ring. The Old Man came out for about 1 minute and then went back to his desk. We actually had great timing because we were able to get a few pictures with Chumlee. Then the production crew moved most of the people out of the shop for 30 minutes to film an episode. We were picked to stay in as extras during the shoot. Very cool to see how the production comes together. Chumlee and Rick both held the drawings that the kids made for them and shook my hand. Chumlee also gave us a couple signed magnets for the kids. What a cool souvenir!

Very Cool, love that show. What can you share about the production of the show that the rest of us don't see? Did anyone have anything interesting to sale that was standing in line? Is the line for tourist only or buyers and sellers as well?

That's funny....me and my girl were watching the show just the other day and wondering much attention the show brought to the shop. Looks like a lot judging by the lineup!

Pretty cool show. The guys are pretty funny and don't know for sure but for the most part it has some history lessons in there also. Unless they blow smoke.

But again it is fun to see the stuff they come up with. Boy old Chum sure is a hog. Funny as heck but wow big boy. The production camera makes him look a bit slimmer.
