[The decks are all welded aluminum construction. The decks weight about 320 lbs. this makes it possible for one person to load and unload the decks alone.
The ramps are stored under the ramp not in the bed of the truck. The ramps have high quality ski guide material for ease of loading.
All decks are constructed using high quality aluminum and welded at each joint. The base of the deck sits in the bed of short or long box pickups, and is braced to allow full access to your covered bed. The deck is covered with pressure treated plywood for durability in the elements.
Sled deck advantage
Sled decks don't have to be licensed or insured. There is no maintenance, such as tires, wheels, wheel bearings, etc. No more looking for a big parking space for your truck and trailer. A truck with a sled deck will fit in any regular parking space right in front of your hotel, restaurant, bar wherever, so you can keep an eye on your toys.
With the sleds on the deck it adds a bit of security. A trailer could be unhooked from your truck and attached to another in no time. If you have a locking tailgate all your gear wont have to be moved to the cab of the pickup while you park to keep it secure. If you are going hunting with ATVs, all your gear will fit under the deck and the sleds on top. No more pulling a trailer up those rocky, rutted out trails to the lucky spot.
If you already own a trailer you can add two more spots with the deck and carpool to the favorite riding area. Have the guys buy you a beer or pitch in on fuel. If you are sick of the huge mpg drop when you tow, a sled deck is for you. Although you will still use more fuel then empty it is considerably better then towing even a aluminum two place open trailer.
I have in stock the Botail decks with exspandable sides. Works great when not in use you can use your truck as normal and use most car washes, town parking spots you name it. Just slide the sides out when you want to load up two sleds. Also will work with most trailers as well some short boxes may need to have the toung exstended on enclosed models.
