Silber turbo pro set up tips

My new Silber turbo should be here Thursday! I am just throwing a request out there to all of the turbo owners out there in colorado, If you have any tips on tunning or setting up a Silber kit shoot me a message. I would love to here what you guys think and how you have them set up! :face-icon-small-ton I am just hoping to get it set up quicker than i would if i was guessing. Thanks for any tips that you might have and also lets hear stories about you Turbo sleds.

The snow is melting fast and tunning time is running out fast!!

Agreed on Next level. I bought Cory's turbo pro and it has ran flawless. Minor adjustments here and there for changes in weather, other than that pull and go at 8lbs of boost.

The install is clean and that is just as important as the tuning. A little oil line rub or wire short could turn into something expensive and a headache down the road. Cory knows the ins and outs of what to look for.

You SOB...... :face-icon-small-ton I need to ride it after its all dialed! When you want to ride this week?

After all the time I spent going over the kit with you i'm kinda bummed you didnt consider us for the purchase..... :face-icon-small-con

Its getting tough to keep supporting all you guys who buy elsewhere. We have changed out control boxes for folks on Saturday evening, and then again on Sunday. We have replaced oil caps, oil tank, control boxes, boost solenoids and tons of orings. We have provided install support to folks that live in different states, hell different countries. Giving away the clutching we worked hard on, pulling parts out of our kits to get you going because parts break. Hell I pulled the primary spring out of my sled to get a member who bought a kit elsewhere going because everybody was out of stock. I thought great service is what sells kits and having parts on hand and first hand knowledge on making them run in Colorado.....at our altitude, I have them in stock.... maybe price but then again you never called and gave me a chance? Who do you think people that ride around here call when they have a problem?

I'm starting to think that people think its free to spend all this time on customer service? I look at it like an investment but I can truthfully tell you this has not been a great one from the start. Thanks to all the folks who didn't know we were a dealer before ordering for using us for other purchases and services. I don't mean this as a slam on anybody but put yourself in our shoes....

I wish you the best of luck, its a great kit.

Next Level Performance

I understand that your time and knowledge all came at a price. You spent YOUR time and money to developed the information that you have on turbos. That is why I didn't try to get free information from you. At the time of my purchase I called Silber up directly and worked out a deal that I didn't think I could get, so that is why I purchased from them.

As for you Cory the service that you provide for snowmobilers is second to none!!! When I purchased my A-arms from your company, you treated me like I was a multi time returning customer! I will always say that if anybody needs parts fast and at a good price call Next Level Performance at 719-578-7774.

As for people taking advantage of you good nature and your knowledge, I feel that nobody should ever do that!!! we as a snowmobile community need to take care of each other. If I was to ask a company for information that they invested money and time in, I would never expect to get it for free!!

I believe I have a awsome kit and will be able to figure it out. Thanks everybody for all of the information and knowledge. Cory I hope one day we can get a good ride in with epic snow conditions! If you still have my number give me a call sometime.

It is hard on powersports shop owners in todays world but its all about price. If i was in his shoes i would have checked with multiple sellers before i picked one which is what he did. I know what he ended up with and i would have done the same thing. Its hard to sell stuff PERIOD in todays world, there is always someone else who has it at a better price, now you have to weigh your options on if that price come with A+ service. You can't win them all.....

All I ask for is a chance to match. Don't be offended to tell me somebody else is cheaper. If I can match great, if not I understand.

My crew wrecks alot of stuff and we buy from you little buddy:) Hey, did you notice the jacket that my wife had on the other night at the party...it came from Next Level Powersports;)

Cory, it is hard to not get offended when this type of practice occurs. In my businesses I STILL get somewhat "riled up" when someone I know seeks other avenues of service and does not give me the opportunity to at least bid the job. Fortunately we have been Blessed and are extremely busy and therefore this eases the sting a little. You would think after 30 years I would get over it. Haha.

Same thing happened to me all the time when I was doing home theaters. Get advice on a proposal and then go out and get the stuff for a few bucks less.....Then call when they cant figure it out. "Oh, I got a better price, can you come over and install it for me". Why yes....$$$$$$$$$$

I agree a lot of people focus on price and price only. More people need to say to themselves, is it worth a couple hundred bucks to buy it from someone 1000 miles away who isn't going to be able to provide the support someone locally would? Again overlooking one small thing could turn into a disaster that won't be warrantied by Polaris. I am about as cheap as they come, I price shop my own Dad but sometimes it's better to spend the little extra to make sure it's done right.

Boston Racing helped me out tremendously, some of the things he mentioned doing that are way above and beyond were for me, and I truly thank him for that, as I did in another post as well. I bought my kit through the group buy on here for a very good price before I even knew about Next Level Powersports. Now that I know who they are and how there service is I will continually go back to them for what I need. I just haven't needed anything since you've helped me out yet. But I was going to call you today if I have some free time from work to get a few small things while I'm in town...

I can't recommend these guys enough, they went way above and beyond for me and have earned my future business. What are your shop hours BTW?

Cory is a heck of a guy, he's helped me and ive never bought anything from him.. i picked up my silber in the grp buy and i dont think youll be seeing that price again...

I wish i had someone like boston racing in my neck of the woods.. i dont have a silber dealer near me... in Canada. Problem with me ordering parts from the states is it cost me a fortune in shipping and border fees, plus it takes twice as long :face-icon-small-fro nothing we can do about that.

If Boston was in the same area as me id be buying form him

turbo.

((Cory, it is hard to not get offended when this type of practice occurs.))quote

I think there is more to the story! I have nothing againsed Cory or his buisness. When i purchased my A-arms from him we exchanged 2 messages about Silber turbos and one of them was a price quote, and there was a 3rd about his demo sled he was selling. Yes i should have gave him a chance to match the price but it was so low that i figured he could never touch it.

I have never asked ANY business to give me FREE information. If I asked for information from Cory i would expect to get a bill in return! Shame on people that just want a free ride! I am just a guy that loves to go sledding and was hoping some other people with the same attitude as me would be interested in sharing info on set up's. If there was only a few hundred difference i would have gotten it local.

I don't know what he paid. Sounds like it's all gonna work out. I try to keep my purchases as local as I can, but I try to spread it out

I bought my dirtbike stuff from Next Level and was impressed.

I buy what I can from Xtreme (Donovan) and the rest I get from the dealer in Steamboat. You gotta keep the dealers happy too. And I know for a fact that when I'm ready to pull the trigger on a new sled, that is where I will go. I know I'll get the best possible deal I can get.

Glad things were worked out here but i do have to say its a buyers market. You DO get special service, advice, etc, etc when buying from a dealer. BUT silber and boondockers turbo set-ups allow you to cut out the middle man (a dealer) and install yourself while getting very close with clutching and gearing. These turbos are bolt on and go, I personally built my own sled last summer, got on the forums, found the best gearing and clutching for my application, bought those springs, weights and gears and didn't have any problems. I get that dealers locally need all the sales they can get to make a living but that goes for all of us. The economy isn't great, pennies are being pinched and that goes for most everyone, so when someone offers you an extremely good deal, you don't hesitate, you JUMP. Its an internet world and its going more and more that way. Ebay, Amazon, SpeedSupplies, etc, etc, etc. Most anyone can buy EVERYTHING they need online and have it in a few days. Its hard for dealers period and its not going to get any better. I deal very specifically with a local service guy, not a dealer but a guy that can get me anything i need and i get it at the exact same price i can get it online. When i need a new sled i will call every dealer around and see what deal i can get and i will pick the best deal, bottom line. Hopefully everyone can help each other out but often the service will be overlooked by the price.
