Silber turbo performance? Reliability ?

Hey guys just wondering who out there is running a silberTurbo and what there overall feeling of it is in performance reliability and the set up is like?

U should have good luck if u go through boston. He seems to be at the top of the list as far as customer support and service. I would buy another slber through Corey boston racing.

Thanks Guys.

I've seen two Silber Turbos, both 2012 pro rmk's. Both had the same low end bog.

Can't complain about mine at all. I have about 400 miles on my kit and finally touched the doebeck box last weekend. I developed a random bog a certain rpm range and was able to get rid of it. I have Next Level Powersports "cheat sheet" printed and laminated. It's a great write up to have with for us beginners in the turbo world.

A few pieces of advice. If it's your first turbo, have a great dealer and have them do the install. It saves a lot of headaches. Plus having a great dealer is nice if you happen to have a few issues, find one that will answer their phones or at a minimum return your calls.

Mine has a very small bog right before clutch engage. I don't even notice it anymore. I rode a push kit this weekend and it was worse than the silber. Not an apple to apple comparision, it was on a Cat also.

Is silber pull and go...I would say yes. If you have a professional install and test/tune, it definately helps. Pull and go doesn't mean to never look under the hood. After every weekend, the side panels and hood is removed on mine and fittings, hose clamps, connections are all checked. You would be amazed at what can work itself loose.

Turbos aren't for everyone. If you don't mind some tinkering and preventative maintenance, along with the occasional head scratch from a new glitch or bog, then you would probably be fine with a turbo.

The smile and giggles that a turbo can bring to a grown man are well worth it!

I love my silber turbo its been pretty much pull and go from day one. That was 600 miles ago when Boston Racing of next level power sports tuned it for me.I only make minor adjustments for elevation mostly pulling or adding fuel on the low end and adjusting boost to keep it from over reving in low alt.

Same with a 2012, low end bog that almost puts you over the handle bars. Sled is now sold after a bunch of unsuccessful tuning... He wishes he tried the Boost it box first before selling it.

When you compare what you get with the Silber kit compared to other kits you realize why it is at a lower cost. Not saying it's a bad kit or anything, I'm just saying you get what you pay for.

The moral of the story, be prepared to get a good baseline setup or be patient and good at tuning or you'll hate the kit. Much like everyone has said.
