silber turbo not building boost

Check throttle body boots and blow off valve. Somewhere downstream of the turbo you have leak.

Pressure test the system , cap intake and exhaust , add air through your wastegate line.
You'll find all your leaks.

I'm currently on a trip out west no access to any real tools. I know I checked last spring before put it away for summer and was working.

Well, first thing you are going to find out is with a turbo sled, you better be packing tools and know how to use them. You added complexity to your sled and with it comes the chance for more problems. It's just the nature of the beast. Blow off valve is pretty easy to get at. It's in the boost tube just ahead of the turbo. Pull off the right panel and it should be there. At least on the kit I saw.

go to an ace hardware store, buy a 2.5" sewer cap and a 3" unit. put the 3 inch on the turbo inlet, 2.5 on downpipe outlet, im sure you can get someone to lend you some air. you will find your problem fast.

I would wager its something stupid like sticky o-ring in BOV.

good note for the future, pre-season and pre trip maintinance. driving 10+ hours on a turbo sled you just pulled out of the shed after the whole summer will lead to frustration. no matter whos kit, stuff breaks, gas goes bad, rubber dry rots.

check the actuator arm on your wastegate, make sure that it's closed. some times they like to hang up. Might be a simple fix. My word of advice is look at the obvious stuff first, once you've checked everything on the outside then dig deeper, it always sucks to rip everything apart on something and then have it be something simple on the outside.

Was it building boost and then just quit? Did it quit building boost while you were under power/had a load on the turbo? Did you build boost and then let off and when you got back on it the sled wouldn't build boost? Basically what were the events leading up to it?
