Not needed, i asked silber about this and he said it made the bottom end loose some response, you dont really need and intercooler till the higher boost levels.
The CAI is proven to make a bigger difference, which is stadard on the kit.

With the tiny compressor any intercooler is a lag inducer, with a 76 compressor its all smiles and LOWER engagment too...
try one and see for yourself,, ask those who have stepped up to the 76 compressor how they like it..
