silber sleds

They can all have issues. I personally don't think they are a bad kit. It seems a lot comes down to install and experience with the controller. That said there some other really nice kits out there, and it is nice to have a good dealer for the customer support when you need it!

Just a complete guess...

I think there are a lot of silber kits out there in general. They were available right away for pros in 2011, The price was attractive, the group buy thing they advertised on here looked like a great deal, and the ones I have seen look like a clean/simple install generally speaking. Can't speak to the performance cause I don't have one, but I would definitely guess they sold quite a few....

upgraded kit

Probably a lot out there cause of above mentioned statement, and the fact that there are some attractive upgrades on the new 13' kit. I personally ride one as well as 4 others in my riding group, have not had one issue with any of them, they flat rip!!! There is a learning curve with the controller as with any of them, but once you understand it, it is a cake walk to fine tune for the day and condiotions. I love mine!!!

Agree with all of the above. They're cheap, been out for years and I also think their more popular on snowest due to the group buy in August for the last few years. Keep in mind you get what you pay for with these kits.
