Silber Axys running on one cylinder

I have a 2016 axys, had around 700 miles when the turbo got put on and now has around 900 miles. Last weekend we went out and as soon as i got to deep stuff it started bogging really bad and would only run on one cylinder. Its weird though because it will idol on both but as soon as i give it throttle it falls on its face. Pulled the mag plug and it was soaking wet, switched plugs but still the same thing. I'm hoping for the best but prepared for the worst. I have it getting check ed out now so as soon as i know I will let you guys know. Just curious if anyone else has seen this?

Just ran into an interesting one. Installed a Silber Kit on a buddies new left over 16 Axys. He had 4 pull the rope and go rides no issues at 7lbs. Half way into the day he said it went into limp mode and ran horriable.

I looked things over and didnt see anything. I took it for a test ride it would hit the det around 6000 rpm. Then i tried the 5# spring and same thing. Looked in the engine with a bore scope looked good and no sign of det. Then looked at the det sensor and good.

Stumped i referred to a friend with way more skill than me and it was stumping him. On his test ride it started one lunging and fouled a plug. He checked everyhing he could think of, fuel presure, fuel pick ups, exhaust valve circuits. Put it on digital wtench had a ton of codes, low voltages, and an open injector circuit code. Ohmed out both injectors and tested good, no reference to ground. We swaped ecus to a known good silber reflashed ecu still the same. He finnaly got it with changing the wiring harness, and its running great again. Such a pain to trouble shoot an intermitant electrical issue. Stinking wirring harness.......

i wonder if one of the injectors is leaking ?

probably best to start crossing stuff off the list

compression test , look at cylinders , power valves , reeds ?

My son had the same issues with his 16 with a silber turbo. The mag side throttle body was coming out of the intake boot. We changed out the Polaris hose clamps with NAPA hose clamps. The sled runs great now.

Thanks for replys everyone. I'm really hoping its something simple like that. I did adjust the TPS and idol before this ride but i never pulled the throttle body off. Just the charge tubes and they were still clamped on good when I was checking it over. Hopefully we can get it figured out!

Bummer man ! That sucks
Are you gonna pull the top end and see what let loose ?

We pulled the head and everything looked fine, I ran the motor for probably an hour after the turbo went cause I had to get back to the truck. You would think the motor would've grenaded by then if something was broke inside. I did hit a rock earlier and broke my bulk head so I'm wondering if a piece of that got in the intake and took it out! It definitely sucks though!

Is it possible a piece of ice from the intake piping went into the turbo?

I had the same issue on my stock sled. Reeds went through the motor and trashed the pto cylinder.

Definitely a possibility. I really have no idea what happened. I ended up buying a 2017 cause i'm pretty my sure my '16 is totaled but i'm pretty skeptical about putting the turbo on it. Sounds like there's some issues about these motors going down with this kit on it because of injector failures.

Reeds were good, I thought for sure that was the problem. So whatever went through that turbo is still a mystery.
