SikaFlex 255

Getting ready to put my sensors back in and they are sealed with SikaFlex 255 after they are installed.. Is this just black silicone or something special that should be used ?? Thanks, Randy

It is used in the glazing industry, maybe in the marine industry...

Where are you located?

I might have it at our shop, but it comes in 300 ml sausages, enough to do about 1000 connections!

Whatever you doo, don't use silicone. It is an acid cure product, and it will start eating the wire, etc, that you are trying to protect.

Use a moisture cure polyurethane.

What about using dual wall shrink tubing?

Less mess, and looks nicer...
