Anybody have any problems with this? They were on the sled when I got it so I don't know what they are. side vent snow conditions
Tough year in the west for side vents...............because with no snow its when you get off in some old unbroken snow that fell two week ago and has warmed and cooled off a dozen times you get very fine ice crystals formed in that old snow and yes they will go through the " PET SCREEN MATERAIL VENTS "............put another layers on that left side insiide just a head of the clutch till about 2/3 the way back, solves the problem...........just went through this with fellow rider on thursday. Yesterday, same sled new fluff, no issue, but that new fluff is big flakes.................so you might say its the little FLAKES that cuase the problem.

You can also get the side vents with the prefilter material inside of the pet screen. I have this on my clutch side and absolutely NO snow gets in. They don't breathe as well but niether does 2 layers of pet screen.
Also, the ones with the frame on th out side tend to collect snow and push it throught the pet screen.

I have a set of timbersled vents for my M1000. I would get snow in when carving as well. So then i decided to by a set of the frogskinz side vents and then put the tough timbersled vents over the top of that. This has worked great. I did try the pet screen and it worked good, but I still had some snow in there from time to time.
