I haven't seen this posted here before and stumbled upon it. Probably won't do anything for the bottom clip melting some have experienced but might help the top. Cat part number: 8639-184

Full description:

Silicone pad on the muffler side
These pads come stock on 2020 M models

2019 M Alpha One 6000, 8000

I would imagine the issue would be less if you’re running an aftermarket can ? I’m running a ggb quiet can and I don’t think it could fold in far enough to touch or. Just a thought. I know some guys are dead set against cans

The huge oem silencer touches the panel. Aftermarket has a much better fit.

My silber turbo compressor housing took one mile to melt into the panel on my 19 alpha. thinking about sticking some exhaust wrap directly to the panel. Any other tricks for boosted alpha right upper panel?

We took some fire blanket ( black) material and adhered it to the side panel. The compressor housing still rubs, but it doesn't hinder the panel any longer-and can't really tell since it's black material.

That’s a good call. I actually did the same while I was waiting. Seems like it’s working. I used header wrap and jb weld...?I know, but it’s on there good.
