Blue Lake
Had a great day up at Blue today. Parked at the bottom but the first 1.5k is a bit skinny on snow, could easily drive pickups to the upper lot at 1.2. Trail above 4k in great shape - many thanks to the grooming crew. Cloudy day with snow falling but had a blast from trees to meadows to hills! Found quite a bit of powder and lots more falling. Hoping to head out again Satuday - see you up there.

Rode Owlshead yesterday. Lots of sun, have to get off the beaten path to find pow. Bout 8 inches of fresh, 18 inches on north faces, but there was quite a few avy's lettin go! EVS doin a great job groomin the trails in the worst low elevation winter weather I have ever seen! Great ridin up top though!

???? This is not Playboy Dave, ya can't just look at the pics! lol I did mention the snow conditions!!!
Ya , I climbed Split Rock to see some skiing buddies up there and when I dropped off cornice at the top it let go! Jumped the Snowdam and was in it for a couple hundred feet. It is amazing how quick they get near full speed!

Had a big dump a week ago, and then just lots of sun! Forecast is for some snow before the weekend though! First pic is Mario teachin us how not to land! Little drop on Nytro with some Pow Cleavage!

The hills are white with fresh from precip over the last 2 days. I've been getting lots of questions about parking so here goes:
Owlhead: Parking 4 - 6.5k, can get trailers up and turn around at 6.5 if area is not covered by too many trucks.
Queest: Parking and turnaround at 6.5k lot (also some at 4k? switch back)
Blue: Parking around 3-5k on wide spots. Limited turn arounds for 4 place trailers.
Eagle Pass: Parking and turn around at aprox. 4k, pickups can go to 5k to another turn around
Remeber:
- Don't block in the snow cats or drags, they may be needed at any time
- Leave some space for others to turn around
- Ask the trail collector for the latest info
- Play safe!!
