shredded belt strings cause problems?

i recently shredded a belt (chunks and strings everywhere).i put a brand new ski doo belt on.this all happened at the end of our ride.the next time i went out the sled ran great for an hour then starting bogging at 6200 rpm and under,once i get above that it runs like it should.any ideas? thanks

Guy I know took out the crank seal after blowing first belt on 06. It wouldn't idle properly.

strings would provide enough weight to throw it out of balance big time... crank would be the next thing to go...

sounds more like a fouled plug to me... or you have a chunk of belt in the airbox thats trying to work its way into the carb or peice of belt maybe in the bowl of the carb or something... blowing belts sux...
